             Burpham Tennis Club

The club consists of a friendly group of players with a wide range of abilities who enjoy the opportunity to play tennis.  
      
We meet every Saturday morning ALL YEAR ROUND - rain or shine.
We have available to the club, 3 "all weather" courts from 09:00 - 11:00  
Then beginning on May 7th 2011 we will have 2 courts available from 11:00 to 12:00 which will be available for 22 weeks.
      
We play on Tuesday evenings from 19:00 - 21:00 in the Summer months, which starts this year on May 3rd 2011.
       
We also organise Round Robin competitions to allow everyone a chance to play against each other and members meet socially two or three times a year.

Location:  Burpham Tennis Club is located just north of Guildford at Burpham village. The courts can be found at  Sutherland Park, which is opposite the "Sainsbury's" roundabout entrance .

Membership

The categories of membership and annual subscriptions for 2011/2012

( 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2012 ) 

Full Member

Playing Member who is 18 years or over on the 1st April of the relevant membership year.  


We also offer pro-rata deals for those joining mid-season. i.e.). If you join on October 1st, we would ask you to pay just 6 months, which is the amount of months before the next Tennis season beginning April 1st the following year.

Playing Member who is 18 years or over, but who has not attained the age of 23 years, on the 1st April of the relevant membership year and is in full-time further education.

Quite a pleasant Round Robin in April ( Lovely sun and quite hot morning )

Here is Adrian presenting the winning Ladies trophy and a bottle of wine (which he seems reluctant to let go of !) - well done Tam

    
The winner of the Mens was shared with equal points by Paul & Peter. Each also received a bottle of wine. (which I don't remember them sharing ... hmm)
 
The  tawdry bunch !  Tea & Coffee and cakes ... it's what it is all about really.
 
I think Lucy is saying ... "Peter you have got to stop .. that's the 8th doughnut you have eaten now .... "
